Moroccan oat rice bowl
There is no lack of taste in this Moroccan oat rice bowl! The bowl is piled with nutritious Fazer Willja Veggie Bites, red cabbage, crunchy nuts and other delicacies.
Ingredients
- 2 dl Fazer Willja Oat Rice
- ½ dl almonds
- ½ dl soft pitted dates
- 1 dl chopped mint
- Grated zest of ½ lemon
- 300 g red cabbage
- Juice of ½ lemon
- ½ tsp salt
- 1 tbsp sesame seed oil
- 1 packet (250 g) of Fazer Willja Veggie Bites Pea & Broccoli (you can also use Carrot & Cauliflower or Bites Beets & Seeds)
- 2 tbsp rapeseed oil
Garnish with
- hummus or vegan mayonnaise of your choice
- 1 dl pomegranate seeds
- 1 packet of vegan Feta
- Fresh mint
Instructions
- Boil Fazer Willja Oat Rice in water seasoned with salt as instructed in the package.
- Grind the almonds. Slice the dates. Chop the mint. Grate the rind of the washed lemon. Mix Fazer Willja Oat rice, almonds, dates, mint and grated lemon rind in a bowl.
- Shred the red cabbage. In another bowl, mix the shredded red cabbage, lemon juice, salt and sesame seedoil.
- Fry Fazer Willja Veggie Bites on a pan with oil for a few minutes on both sides.
- Use a spoon to scoop the Fazer Willja Oat rice, red cabbage salad, Fazer Willja Veggie Bites and the hummus or vegan mayonnaise of your choice
into a bowl. Garnish with pomegranate seeds, vegan Feta and fresh mint.
