This easy and tasty lentil stew with oat rice is a perfect vegan everyday recipe. The stew with delicious spices is served with nutritious Fazer Willja Oat Rice and fresh bread.

2 finely chopped onions
4 grated cloves of garlic
2 tbsp grated ginger
1 tsp turmeric
1 tbsp ground coriander
1 tbsp cumin
2 tbsp garam masala
Olive oil
300g red lentils
700ml vegetable stock
400g chopped tomatoes
Salt and freshly ground pepper
300ml Fazer Willja Oat Rice
Soy yoghurt
Sesame seeds
Fresh coriander
Instructions
Sweat the onion and garlic with the spices and olive oil in a saucepan, and after 2-3 minutes add the red lentils. Let the lentils cook for another 3 minutes, then add the stock and chopped tomatoes to the saucepan. Let the vegan dahl cook, lid-on, for 20 minutes, and finally season with salt and freshly ground pepper.
Boil the oat rice according to the instructions on the package, and serve in bowls with the dahl, sesame seeds, soy yoghurt and fresh coriander leaves.
