Here is a vegan version of the traditional Indian butter chicken portion. The tasty and creamy butter chickpea is served with Fazer Willja Oat Rice and gets an addictively delicious taste from different spices. This vegan delicacy disappears from the plate under a unit of time.

240g tinned chickpeas
1 tsp chilli flakes
2 tsp ground cardamom
3 tbsp. garam masala
1 tbsp cumin
2 tsp turmeric
1 tbsp ground coriander
1 tsp cayenne pepper
3 tsp grated ginger
2 clove garlic
400 g chopped tomatoes
100ml natural yoghurt
2 finely chopped onions
40g butter
3 tbsp tomato purée
Salt and freshly ground pepper
100ml whipping cream 38%
300ml Fazer Willja Oat Rice
Sprouts
Mixed sesame seeds
Instructions
Blend the spices, grated ginger, garlic and chopped tomatoes in a small blender and stir in the yoghurt and chickpeas. Put the mixture in the fridge and let it rest for a minimum of 2 hours, preferably longer. Fry the onions in the butter and after 2 minutes add the tomato purée and marinated chickpeas. Let the dish simmer, lid-on, for 15 minutes and finally season with whipped cream, salt, freshly ground pepper and possibly a little garam masala.
Cook Fazer Willja Oat Rice according to the instructions on the package, and serve in bowls with buttered chickpeas, sprouts and mixed sesame seeds.
